What if we just delete this article? -- Strangelv 05:22, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THIS IS A CRITICALLY IMPORTANT CONCEPT!!!!!!!!
Or at least rewrite from scratch. Our actual policy is quite simple and mifght be expressible in a very concise fashion' I believe. -- Strangelv 05:46, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
I would not have come across this page so soon if it were not vandalized and thus showed up in recent changes. I guess it is not necessary to keep this page since I guess a better version is on Wikipedia, but I might look at it again. I wonder who user:69.207.60.170 is who contributed to this talk page. Is this the same user who shows up with multiple IP address names being pasted onto his/her contributions? It seems as if this user is spoofing the host system to avoid having the real IP address attached to edits and avoid being blocked. There might be some malware program that could be removed from the host system to prevent this from happening. Farred 08:08, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
No, that was one of our fellow admins. She just didn't log in first. She was a little more eloquent about it on Skype (the MOO is down right now so the ASI MOO regulars are on Skype -- if I can connect to you on Skype I can invite you in). 8) And, yes, she would be content to have it rewritten from scratch. Okay, I didn't log in first either... -- 71.170.157.190 06:32, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
I do not have e-mail. That is why I can not provide an email address to join the Moon Society. I think I am out of ASI MOO too because I do not have Skype either. Until I can fix one or another of these deficiencies, I will just see what good I can do without these things. Farred 22:36, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
ASI MOO when it's up and running doesn't require an email address or even an account. You also shouldn't HAVE to provide an email to join the society -- if the interface won't let you we might have a bug report. http://www.asi.org/adb/09/08/04/mootcan/main.html is the easiest, if not the most reliable way to get in for most people. You can point any MUD compatible client, TELNET client, or even some IRC clients to moo.asi.org port 7777. When yu see the login screen type 'connect guest' and then type in 'Farred'. As I type this it's up and running. -- Strangelv 00:20, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
