View source for L5 Society

Inspired by "[[The Colonization of Space]]" by Professor [[Gerard K. O'Neill]],  The L5 Society was incorporated in August 1975 with the vision of a space habitat at the [[L5]] Lagrangian libration point.

The publication 'L5 News' (first issue September 1975) became an inspiration to many.

In 1987 the L5 Society merged with the '[[National Space Institute]]' to become the '[[National Space Society]]'.
