&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;The 'Lunar and Planetary Institute' (''LPI''), located near the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, is a nonprofit institute that supports scientific study of the moon and planets, and serves as repository of the information gathered from the Apollo missions.  It is run by the Universities Space Research Association, and was established during the Apollo missions to foster international collaboration.  It hosts several conferences, meetings, and workshops, most notably the annual Lunar and Planetary Science conference (LPSC), one of the largest scientific conferences dealing with planetary science.&lt;br /&gt;
