I wrote this short article to explain how I am trying to determine what ideas about Returning to the Moon are hot for student project. I thought it only fair to post it on Lunarpedia.

		+	:Part of the problem is that the core people with the Moon Society who would be or have been contributing here are rather overextended right now. The unreliability of my health hasn't helped either (with the wikis or the video series project). If it helps, Lunarpedia has been getting over 10,000 hits a week for a few months now.

		+	:There is probably enough content here to make strong efforts to drum up more support worthwhile as long as we can keep enough legitimate edits in the default most recent changes page. Alas, it's been awhile since I've been able to make sure that that list was full and covered no more than 2-3 days (25 edits or more a day).

		+	:If you believe that Lunarpedia isn't doing as well as hoped, avoid looking at Marspedia (where every Mars-promoting society that climbed on board for it has completely dropped the ball so far) or even worse, the New Mars group's wiki, which has been almost dead for the past year or two (I've contemplated raiding it for content to add to Marspedia's GFDL namespace, but as you may have already guessed, haven't had the energy and time needed to find the articles of greatest value to grab -- worth enough to compensate for having them in the GFDL namespace instead of the public domain one).

		+	:I really need to get back to making progress on [[Lunarpedia:Autostub1\|Autostub1]]. When completed, this will add over 9000 location and selenographic section articles to Lunarpedia, making it larger than ExoDictionary and making sure that we already have an article on just about every location we may want to ponder doing something at (as well as making such locations easier to find and identify). Exodictionary has over 5000 definitions, alost all of which were added with a script I wrote called Autostub3 (which I originally planned to use here, but concluded that a separate dictionary wiki was the better solution). Perhaps not surprisingly, ExoDictionary has also been getting over 10,000 hits a week.
