Micro Aerospace Solutions is a small Florida based provider of Spacecraft Testing, Software Control, Experiment Control, Embedded Software, Thrusters, Propulsion, Attitude Hardware, Command and Data Handling, and Embedded Computers.
MAS propulsion systems specialize in safe and low cost "green" propellants, room temperature storable.
MAS provides customized PID process control software suitable for any control application, e.g. process control or motion control. Implementations include 8-bit Microchip PIC executables.
Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and sensor clusters using MEMS components consume less than 0.6 watts of power and have a mass under 60 grams. For micro and nanosatellite systems as well as UAV, AUV, ROV and automotive applications, etc. Other more sensitive platforms are also in work. Inertial Measurement Units - suitable for dead-reckoning during GPS outages. Low cost MEMS Technology. 6 DoF (3 Gyros, 3 Accelerometers); Ranges: Angular:+/-150 °/s std ; Linear +/-2g to +/-50g configurable ; Data I/F: RS-485; Options: USB, RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet, CAN, I²C ; Size: 3.8cm x 5cm x 5cm (2" x 2" x 1.5") ; Power in: <600 mW, 5 to 12V ;Weight: 59g (inc. housing) ; Optional PID Controller.
