I need group numbers for the lantanides and actinides.  What convention do you agree most with, or what convention would you suggest whether or not anyone else is using it? IUPAC offers no rules at this time.  Wikipedia notes some solutions that are in use [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_number_of_lanthanides_and_actinides here]. --[[User:Strangelv|Strangelv]] 17:22, 26 January 2007 (PST)

Greetings, Strangelv is on vacation for a few days, I expect he will contact you upon his return. Sorry for the delay. Seasons greetings and and best regards. (unsigned by User:Cfrjlr)

Imported along with the talk page. Note that it may not be meaningful to add them individually as work is in progress on a script to create feature articles in bulk (as in more than 9000 articles in one go). Obviously, you're more than welcome to help.

I need group numbers for the lantanides and actinides. What convention do you agree most with, or what convention would you suggest whether or not anyone else is using it? IUPAC offers no rules at this time. Wikipedia notes some solutions that are in use here. --Strangelv 17:22, 26 January 2007 (PST)
