This article should be linked with Moon Colony.

Can anyone include a link?

Assumptions

The article assumes a six month day/night cycle at the lunar poles. There are several areas around Peary Crater, at the Lunar North Pole, that are known as the Peaks of Eternal Light. They get sunlight 100% of the time in Lunar summer, and 70-90% of the time in Lunar winter. See Peak of Eternal Light article in Wikipedia. The Clementine lunar probe was intended to look for such areas, among other missions.

  • The annonymous contributer deserves thanks for directing attention to the Peak of Eternal Light article.--FARTHERRED10:49am Central Standard Time 31 October 2008
