12 September 2006

Implementation 1 was set up by Dana Carson and Mike Delaney using CGI PHP on Cyberteam's pb7 server and remotely accessing MySQL from a Hosting365.ie account, possibly on a server located in Belgium. It was renowned for its slowness.

Implementation 2 was set up as PHP 5 running on its own Apache server on pb7 using port 8888, with a small amount of speed improvement over Imprementation 1. For unknown reasons it wasn't possible to change user account status, and both it and Implementation 1 ran simultaneously using the same remote database.

13 October 2006

Implementation 3 was set up completely on Dreamhost, and Implementations 1 and 2 were immpdiately redirected towards it. Speed was considerably improved.

Mike Delaney announces Lunarpedia on Artemis List

8 January 2007

On this day there were 92 revisions to Lunarpedia, the work of four users: James Rogers (36 updates), James Gholston (30 updates), Geoffrey Landis (18 updates), and Charles Radley (9 updates). The previous record was 7 January 2007 with 85 updates and the following contributors: Cfrjlr, Jarogers2001, and Strangelv.

14 January 2007

The record was again reset on this day with 98 updates, the work of three contributors. Cfrjrl: 42, Jarogers2001, 27, and Strangelv, 29.

06 February 2007

On this day there were 117 listed updates (official total is what was listed in Recent Charges; 129 were listed in contributor page listings), the work of four contributors: Charles Radley: 6, Dr Geoffrey Landis: 25, James Rogers: 47, and James Gholston: 51. Two new content articles were added, both from Dr Landis.

07 February 2007

On this day there were 126 listed updates at the end of the day. This may count as a new record, although this quantity includes multiple tests of Autostub3. Contributors included Mike Delaney, James Gholston, Charles Radley, and Tom Riley. Counts are pending.

06 April 2007

136 updates on this day. 93 by Mike Delaney, albeit most of a maintenance nature. 27 were by James Rogers, 11 by James Gholston, 3 by 207.114.17.39 (Tom Riley?), 1 by Tom Billings, and 1 by IntrplnetSarah. Efforts on this day at finding an extension to provide historical statistics and a better benchmark than counting updates for records (especially one that's not as easy to deliberately stuff) were not successful.

09 April 2007

139 updates on this day. 127 by Mike Delaney (more heavy maintenance), 7 by James Rogers, 4 by Dr Ian O'Neill, and 1 by Charles Radley.
