Specification

Type Alternating Current
Voltage 240 Volts
Frequency 60 Hz

Reasoning

This was Tesla's original recommendation to Westinghouse. The voltage was halved for political considerations in allowing its deployment.

Pros

Compatibility with Terrestrial specifications

There is a great deal of Terrestrial products that will run on a power grid using this specification.

Cons

No break from legacy considerations

Increased copper usage

Copper is believed to be in short supply on Luna
