Selenography is the study of Lunar geography. Currently, Selenography focuses on the visible Lunar surface features and the Lunar natural environment; where they are located and how they interact with each other.  Selenography is closely linked to selenology, the study of the composition and processes of the solid material that makes up Luna, and often overlap each other. Eventually, with permanent human habitation, selenography will encompass the full range of topics covered by geology: studying people, communities, cultures, economies and their interactions with their location and environment.
