The Space Frontier Foundation was established in 1988 as an advocacy group with the goal of replacing the United State's existing bureaucratic exclusionary space program with an inclusive, entrepreneurial, frontier-opening enterprise.
The group currently sponsors the Space Frontier Conference, the Return to the Moon Conference, and the NewSpace Economic Development Conference.
