Thanks for locking out annonymous edits, but things could possibly be better.  References do not show up when I am not signed in.  I could just write out references without depending on Wiki software to order them if it seems unlikely that this bug will be fixed.  I use references in Lunar Rocket-sled to Orbit.  When I find out if this is likely to be fixed, I will know which way to go.  Thanks,--Farred 00:10, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Lunarpedia is taking up too much time for maintenance.  Spam programs walk through the Captcha barrier as if it were not there.  WHUMP (the spam deletion bot) breaks down repeatedly.  It seems to me that the rights of IP address users should be changed so that they can neither edit articles nor create accounts but only log in to a pre-existing account.  In other words Lunarpedia should be a closed wiki rather than an open wiki.  New accounts should be available to Moon Society members and such people as have been constructive users in the past.  For example, the Calgary Space Workers Society could be given an account or two as needed.  I see no advantage to continuing to allow account creation rights to IP address users.  What do you think?  I put this on Strangelv's talk page too.  - Farred 08:13, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

non Mars related advertising on Marspedia site

Hello Dcarson,

New User:4400 has put a link to Puma shoes on his user page. I do not think this is the sort of contribution Marspedia seeks. I do not know if the corporation has anything to do with this. I could start with a comment on User:4400's talk page, but editing User:4400's user page may be necessary. I thought I would seek your input.Farred 01:52, 4 July 2010 (UTC) Jarogers took care of it. Drop rights for IP address users

Hello Dcarson,
