(Redirected from Space Solar Alliance for Future Ener)
The Space Solar Alliance for Future Energy (SSAFE) is a coalition of thirteen organizations pursuing the findings of the Space-Based Solar Power Interim Assessment. Both were announced on 10 October 2007 by the National Security Space Office and the National Space Society.
Purpose
The alliance was formed to support the development of space-based solar power as a way to provide a renewable, non-polluting, and carbon-neutral energy solution that reduces dependance on oil-producing countries.
