The Calgary Space Workers have changed slightly over the past few years (since 2004) They are a now a secret society that is working on several projects that are beyond what was expected of a group of volunteers. It is now critical that all the members give resumes and go through an initiation cerimony that disallows discussion of the cerimony and the projects they are working on.
The Captain says that the members put their whole heart and soul into these projects and they sometimes see spin-off products that could be exploited by people with less than honorable character..... Also, many of these brilliant people do work that no company could afford to research and build, the Captain says.
