What fraction of incoming radiation is reflected by a material, rather than absorbed or transmitted. This is a number between 0 and 1, and depends on the material characteristics and the spectrum of incoming radiation (light, infrared, radio, etc). For the same spectral range, the emissivity of a material is 1 - reflectivity.
