List of Elements to be Backed Up
This is the list periodic table articles that have changed since their last export. They should be re-exported before autostub runs.

I need group numbers for the lantanides and actinides. What convention do you agree most with, or what convention would you suggest whether or not anyone else is using it? IUPAC offers no rules at this time. Wikipedia notes some solutions that are in use here. --Strangelv 17:22, 26 January 2007 (PST)
Backups aren't useful. In fact, they're problematic in that I don't know a way to consolidate the histories of two articles, unless it's to manually export both articles, painstakingly merge them by hand, then reimport them. Look at the history of Lunarpedia:TEST1 -- the new content is there, it's just not on the front page. Click on the date that didn't turn out right and you'll see the uploaded content.
Also, I may not be able to run the update soon. I need to rework the script first, run another test, make additional changes, and my remaining time and energy forthe day are about ot get hijacked. -- Strangelv 13:48, 6 February 2007 (PST)
Probably the best way to back up individual articles is to export them. -- Strangelv 13:51, 6 February 2007 (PST)
What changes do you want to make to the Elements infobox? What content belongs in the infobox and what should be in the article itself? How would you like to see the articles generated from your work to look? -- Strangelv 20:41, 6 February 2007 (PST)
James, rather than asking people to notify you if they edit certain pages ( a tedious and error prone procedure), it would be better if you made use of the "watch" flag so you get automatically updated of changes to any particular page. No?

Last call for corrections and preparations: Lunarpedia:Autostub2; I can push the button any time now. -- Strangelv 00:42, 9 February 2007 (PST)
